The Facility

Colonial Country Club offers a challenging 18 holes of golf that you will never forget. Colonial is a traditional layout with small greens, tight fairways lined with oak trees, and strategically positioned water hazards. Colonial will host the 2001 Grid Iron Classic which will have NFL celebrities such as Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, and many other NFL players. Golf clinics are conducted on a frequent basis with swing analysis, short game, and rules.

The Pro

Colonial Golf and Country Club welcomes our new Head Golf Professional, Mr. Steve Schmitt. After attending Nicholls State University, where he played on the golf team for four years Steve knew the direction his talent and skills would lead him.

Steve began his career as the assistant pro with Ormond Country Club, moving quickly into the position of Head Golf Professional... Steve spent the last of his 15 years at Ormond as the General Manager before joining our professional staff at Colonial.

Finally returning to Colonial Country Club, the club where it all began. Steve spent his youth on Colonial's Golf Course under the tutelage of Mr. Randy Quick. Not only was Steve developing his game and his love for golf, he was creating life long friendships in our community.
