OUR FACILITIES

The Colonial Tennis Center overlooks six Laykold tennis courts and the mighty Mississippi River. The second story viewing deck has plenty of seating, providing a perfect view of front court matches and  two courts to showcase tournament finals. Lovely old oak trees, large pines, and quiet settings make it a very pleasant place to play. Men's, women's, and children's tennis activities are held year round at our beautiful tennis facility.

 

ABOUT THE PRO

Tennis Pro Ski Chelchowski has been with Colonial for over 13 years and has been teaching for over 20 years. Ski was highly ranked throughout his junior career in Louisiana and played college tennis at the University of New Orleans. He is USPTR certified, and enjoys teaching and seeing his students' skills and love for the game grow. He is an official with the USTA Adult League, and is on the governing boards of local junior and adult leagues.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Tennis Pro Ski Chelchowski offers private lessons and clinics for every age and ability level.  He also offers year round, low-cost junior clinics. If you want  competition, you can play in competitive adult or junior tournaments. The less serious can enjoy social Round Robins with an emphasis on fun, or play league tennis. Colonial plays in a wide variety of leagues so you can find one to fit any schedule or level of play.
